What should I wear for the weekend?
Pack comfortable clothes and bring what you need for whatever activities you're into - bathing suit, running shoes, hiking boots. Remember to bring layers as temperatures in NH can be highly variable in late summer. We could have days in the high 80s. We could have nights in the low 40s. It might be sunny one day and pour the next. Come prepared!
Wait...when is the ceremony?
The ceremony is happening on Friday at 3pm. You are welcome to the event if your schedule allows (please email us to let us know), but it will be a smaller, more formal celebration with family and the bridal party. After some celebratory cocktails, the bridal party will have dinner on their own and return to camp for the kick-off bonfire!
What should I wear for dinner and dancing on Saturday night?
Saturday night is not a formal reception so there's no need for you to pack a gown, a blazer, or a tie for this weekend! However, we would ask that you refrain from t-shirts, shorts, jeans, flip flops, and ball caps for the Saturday evening festivities. The dress code is classy casual--a dress shirt or polo with a pair of pants and shoes will do the trick. So too would a dress or skirt with flats or sandals.
Are children invited?
We love your children, but selfishly want you all to ourselves for the weekend! You may see a couple of little kids at camp - a ring-bearer here, a flower child there - but for the most part the only kids you're going to see are big kids: YOU & US!
Are dogs invited?
We love your four-legged children almost a much as we love your two-legged children, but we ask that you leave anyone with a tail at home for the weekend.
What activities are available at the camp?
There will be kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards to take out on the lake. The waterfront boasts a long sandy beach and several docks - these will be staff by lifeguards at different points throughout the weekend. There are also various courts and fields for basket ball, tennis, pickle ball, you name it. There will be a dedicated board gaming area and ample lawn games. There's also an extensive network of trails for walking or running.
What food or drink should I plan to bring with me?
Nothing! From the moment you arrive, to the moment you depart, we've got you covered. If you have dietary restrictions or concerns, please note them on the RSVP and we will make certain they are covered!
I'm worried about accessibility and lugging bags--how spread out is the camp?
The dining hall and dancing area are connected and are easily accessed via ~5 steps from a small parking lot area. The main activity areas (dining hall, waterfront, BBQ lunch pavilion, etc.) are connected via wide dirt trails. However, there additionally will be a golf cart to help move luggage and/or people as needed.
